Shashi Tharoor quits the government!

Shashi Tharoor

Shashi Tharoor is too intellectual to survive amongst the ‘political’ idiots in the system. I call them idiots…because most of them are only less lettered and cannot ever contribute to any change in the system. But, who needs intellectual…if that is not rightly channelized. It is basically a small distance between the lip and the edge of a cup of tea!

IPL is become a national craze and I do not find anything wrong if ‘bidding’ takes place…because it is natural occurrence to happen. All sports are facing similar situation and money is motivating factor to run or sponsor these sports activities whether they are cricket, football, car racing, tennis, golf. Betting takes place in all these sports and that is what ‘goads’ the players and sponsors/ owners alike.

It is basically…Shashi Tharoor is not discrete and tweets too much! It is really surprising as well shocking that he was asked to resign by the same person (Dr Manmohan Singh) who once recommended him to the UN secretary General’s position. Sharad Pawar is an old and seasoned horse and to save his skin…he dropped Tharoor. Sunanda Pushkar is not his girl friend or ‘to be’ partner. She just admires him or enjoys friendship with him.

For a change…Indian Political System looked bright… having enrolled bright volunteers. It is unfortunate that Politics have remained personalised and not value based.

  1. While I agree with what you say, Tharoor himself only came to India only for personal gain and fame. How could someone who has lived abroad nearly his entire life represent native people of Kerala. No worries about him, he will land in some highly paid consultant gig somewhere ..
